Terms of Service
1. The app
Travel Money Tracker ("the app") is a currency converter and trip-expense tracker. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any bank, card network or currency provider. The app does not hold money, move funds or provide financial, investment or tax advice.
2. License to use
Subject to these terms, you may use the app on your own device(s) for personal or household purposes. This license is not transferable and does not include reselling, sublicensing or offering the app's features as a service to others.
We may update the app over time. The free tier includes everything described in the app and on our website as free; Pro adds the features described there. We may change what is free and what is Pro in future versions, with notice in the app.
3. Pro and in-app purchases
- Pro is available as a subscription (monthly or annual) or a one-time lifetime purchase, and may be shared with your family where the app store supports Family Sharing.
- Purchases are made through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. The app store's own terms apply to your purchase, including its refund policy — we are not able to issue refunds directly, and except where required by law a completed purchase is non-refundable.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renewal in your app store account before the renewal date, in which case the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
- The app offers a limited 7-day grace period with a subset of Pro features, which begins when you choose to start it from the Pro screen. This grace period is an in-app feature with no billing; it is separate from any trial offered by the app store.
- Purchases are verified with RevenueCat as a billing helper, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Exchange rates and accuracy
Exchange rates are daily reference rates obtained from third-party sources. They are provided for convenience, as is, and may differ from the rate your bank or card network applies. Rates are cached on your device and can become stale; the app shows when they were last updated. Always verify rates independently before making financial decisions.
5. No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or savings, arising from your use of the app or these terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
7. Your data
Your trip data is stored on your device and handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you create in the app.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. You may stop using the app and delete it at any time, which also deletes your on-device data.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence where required by mandatory local consumer-protection law.
